White mushrooms with thick, sturdy stalks and a slightly chewier texture. Lacks the pigmentation of typical oysters — pure white at all stages.

WX008 is a white-form oyster that completely lacks the blue-grey pigmentation typical of P. ostreatus. The caps are pure white and the stalks are noticeably thicker and chewier than standard oyster strains. The texture is more substantial and the flavour is mild and clean.
